Thermal Transfer Ribbon Brady Black 6000 Series Halogen R6000HF-65X70/O – industrial black ribbon 65 mm x 70 m

Brady Black 6000 Series Halogen thermal transfer ribbon (65 mm x 70 m) is an industrial black ribbon engineered for thermal transfer printers to produce clear, high-contrast text and barcodes. Its halogen-free formulation makes it suitable for environments and applications where reduced halogen content is required. The ribbon width and length are optimized for medium-duty labeling tasks in manufacturing, warehousing, electrical identification, and general-purpose asset tagging.

Advantages

The halogen-free construction reduces potentially harmful halogens while maintaining consistent print density and sharp edge definition. The ribbon delivers high-contrast black printing that improves barcode read rates and label legibility. Its industrial-grade ink provides resistance to smudging during handling and good adhesion on common label materials used in industrial settings.

Suitable for

• Printing durable labels and barcodes for inventory and asset tracking
• Electrical identification and wire or cable marking where halogen-free materials are preferred
• General-purpose labeling in warehouses and production lines
• Applications requiring clear text and machine-readable barcodes

Key specifications

• Ribbon type: thermal transfer, wax/resin blend suitable for label and tag printing
• Color: industrial black for high contrast
• Width: 65 mm
• Length: 70 m
• Composition: halogen-free formulation
• Compatibility: designed for use in thermal transfer printers that accept 65 mm wide ribbons

How to use

Install the ribbon into a compatible thermal transfer printer following the printer manufacturer's instructions, ensuring proper ribbon orientation and tension. Use suitable label stock for the intended application — paper or synthetic materials as required — and set printer darkness and speed to achieve clear, scannable barcodes and crisp text. Perform a test print and adjust settings if necessary to optimize print quality and durability.

Usage recommendations

Store the ribbon in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For best results, match the ribbon formulation to the label material (paper or synthetic) and adjust printer settings to balance print density and throughput. Replace the ribbon when print quality decreases or when the roll reaches its end to maintain consistent labeling performance.
