Key specifications

• Material: High-quality brass
• Application: Outdoor irrigation and water management
• Compatibility: Standard garden hoses and outdoor plumbing fittings
• Operation type: Manual valve control

How to use

To install the Cellfast 52-920 brass garden tap, ensure the water supply is turned off, then wrap the threaded connection with appropriate plumbing tape to create a secure seal. Screw the tap clockwise into the designated wall outlet or pipe fitting until firmly tightened, taking care not to over-tighten and damage the threads. Once installed, turn the handle to test the water flow and check for any leaks around the connection point. Attach your garden hose securely to the outlet before opening the valve for use.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the thread size of your existing outdoor water pipe to ensure correct compatibility
• Check local winter climate conditions to ensure the tap can be drained or insulated to prevent frost damage
• Confirm whether additional fittings or hose connectors are needed for your specific setup

Usage recommendations: During freezing winter temperatures, ensure the water supply to the tap is shut off and the valve is left open to drain any remaining water, preventing internal cracking caused by ice expansion. Periodically inspect the threaded connections and seals for wear to maintain optimal water pressure and prevent leakage.
