Cobi Jagdpanzer IV/70 (V) Sd.Kfz.162/1 Brick Model Kit — scale 1:28

The Cobi Jagdpanzer IV/70 (V) Sd.Kfz.162/1 Brick Model Kit at scale 1:28 is a detailed construction-brick replica of the German World War II tank destroyer. Built from interlocking bricks, the model reproduces the vehicle’s overall silhouette and external features, offering authentic-looking hull lines, sloped armor surfaces and a long, fixed superstructure gun mantlet typical for this variant. The kit is intended for display, modeling and collecting, and matches the brand’s modular brick system for compatibility with other sets and additional accessories.

Advantages

This Cobi brick model combines visual accuracy with the hands-on assembly experience of a construction set. Precision-molded bricks allow for fine exterior detailing and sturdy final assembly at 1:28 scale, making the finished model suitable for shelf or cabinet display. The set supports incremental building and minor customization while preserving historical proportions of the Jagdpanzer IV/70 (V).

Suitable for

• Collectors of military vehicles and scale models
• Model builders who prefer construction-brick kits
• Display use in home, office, or exhibition settings
• Intermediate hobbyists learning assembly of detailed brick sets

When it may not be suitable

This brick model is not intended as a children’s toy for unsupervised play; small parts present a choking hazard and the complexity is aimed at older teens and adults. If you need an exact moving drivetrain or fully functional miniature mechanics, this static display model may not meet those requirements.

Key specifications

• Scale: 1:28
• Model type: Jagdpanzer IV/70 (V) Sd.Kfz.162/1 tank destroyer replica
• Construction system: interlocking plastic bricks compatible with the brand’s modular sets
• Detailing: exterior hull lines, armor slopes and fixed gun mantlet reproduction

How to use

Assemble the kit following the included instruction manual, working through numbered steps to build subassemblies and then join them into the full model. Use a clean, well-lit workspace and separate small pieces by type to speed assembly. After construction, place the model on a stable flat surface or in a display case to protect it from dust and accidental damage. The set allows limited cosmetic modification by adding compatible bricks or aftermarket detailing elements.

What to consider before purchase

• Intended recipient’s age and experience with detailed brick kits
• Available display space for a 1:28 scale vehicle model
• Preference for static display models versus motorized or functional miniatures
• Need for additional compatible bricks or display accessories

Usage recommendations

Handle small parts carefully during assembly and store any spare pieces in a labeled container. For long-term preservation, keep the completed model away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity; a dustproof display case will maintain the model’s appearance and detail.
