Hi-Tec Prigo Handlebar Tape

Enhance your cycling grip and comfort with the Hi-Tec Prigo handlebar tape. Designed for bicycles, this durable wrapping accessory improves control, absorbs vibrations, and ensures a secure hold during rides. Ideal for upgrading road bikes or daily commuters for better handling and rider comfort.

Advantages

The Hi-Tec Prigo handlebar tape provides a reliable grip that remains steady in various weather conditions. Its shock-absorbing material reduces hand fatigue by dampening road vibrations during long cycling sessions. The durable construction ensures long-lasting performance, while the sleek design upgrades the overall appearance of your bicycle.

Suitable for

• Road cycling and racing
• Daily commuting and urban riding
• Upgrading worn-out or slippery handlebar grips
• Improving vibration damping on rigid frames

When it may not be suitable

This product may not be suitable for flat handlebars found on standard mountain bikes or city cruisers that require slip-on grips rather than wrap-around tape. Additionally, riders who prefer extremely thick padding may find standard handlebar wraps less cushioned than specialized gel grips.

Key specifications

• Designed for bicycles and road bike handlebars
• Durable wrapping accessory material
• Vibration-absorbing structure
• Improves control and secure hold

How to use

Begin by removing any old tape and thoroughly cleaning the bicycle handlebars to ensure a smooth, dust-free surface. Start wrapping from the bar end and work your way up toward the stem, overlapping each turn evenly to maintain consistent coverage. Secure the end of the tape with finishing tape and insert the bar end plugs to complete the installation.

What to consider before purchase

• Ensure your bicycle has drop handlebars compatible with wrap-around tape
• Check the length and thickness preferences for your riding style
• Verify whether additional handlebar plugs or finishing tape are needed

For optimal results, wrap the tape tightly with uniform overlap and replace it periodically as signs of wear or loss of grip appear.
