Gasket EPDM (internal, up to 120°C) ø80 Jeremias F9ALBI367080

Gasket EPDM (internal, up to 120°C) ø80 Jeremias F9ALBI367080 is an internal EPDM sealing ring designed for use in Jeremias ø80 systems. The gasket is manufactured from heat-resistant EPDM compound and intended to create a reliable seal between pipe sections or components in flue, chimney and ventilation assemblies. It provides elasticity to accommodate small misalignments and thermal expansion while maintaining a durable seal for continuous operation at temperatures up to 120°C.

Advantages

The EPDM material offers good resistance to heat and aging, preserving flexibility and sealing performance over time. Its internal profile ensures a compact installation within the duct or pipe connection, reducing the risk of outward protrusion and facilitating assembly. The gasket is suitable for repair, replacement or new installations and is compatible with other components sized for ø80 connections, providing uniform sealing pressure and reducing the chance of leaks.

Suitable for

• Sealing joints in ø80 flue and chimney pipe systems
• Repair or replacement of worn or damaged internal gaskets
• Assembly of ventilation ducts and connectors with ø80 diameter
• Applications requiring continuous operation at temperatures up to 120°C

Key specifications

• Material: EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer)
• Rated continuous temperature: up to 120°C
• Application position: internal sealing ring
• Nominal diameter compatibility: ø80
• Function: elastic sealing for pipe and flue connections

How to use

Ensure mating pipe ends and sealing grooves are clean and free of debris, corrosion or old sealant. Press the gasket into the internal groove or insert it into the pipe end so the sealing lip contacts the mating surface evenly. Join the pipe sections, ensuring correct alignment and full engagement to compress the gasket and form a continuous seal. For replacement, remove the old gasket, clean the seating area, then fit the new gasket following the same procedure.

Usage recommendations

Install and inspect gaskets at regular service intervals; replace if deformed, cracked or hardened. Avoid exposure to aggressive chemicals or direct flame. Verify compatibility with adjacent materials and ensure connections are tightened or secured according to system assembly instructions to maintain proper sealing.
