Microphone clamp RØDE MagClip GO — compatible with Wireless GO, width 35.1 mm, depth 19.7 mm, height 5 mm

RØDE MagClip GO is a low-profile microphone clamp engineered for use with the RØDE Wireless GO system. With a slim clip profile (width 35.1 mm, depth 19.7 mm, height 5 mm), it secures the transmitter or microphone to clothing or accessories using a magnetic sandwich method that holds fabric between the magnet and clip. The compact design enables discreet mounting on clothing, objects in a scene, or stage elements for interview, run-and-gun and field recording situations where minimal visibility and secure attachment are required.

Advantages

The MagClip GO offers a secure magnetic hold while keeping the transmitter unobtrusive. Its slim dimensions reduce bulk and allow placement under or over light fabrics without interfering with movement. The sandwich-style mounting provides flexibility across different clothing materials and thicknesses, and the clip can also be used to attach the microphone discretely to props or set pieces. The durable construction is intended for repeated attachment and removal during location work.

Suitable for

• Interview and ENG (electronic news gathering) where fast, discreet mic placement is needed
• Run-and-gun shooting and documentary production
• Field recording and on-location dialogue capture
• Stage or set mounting on props, furniture, or costume elements

Key specifications

• Compatibility: designed for RØDE Wireless GO transmitters and similar compact lavalier/microphone transmitters
• Clip width: 35.1 mm
• Clip depth: 19.7 mm
• Clip height: 5 mm
• Mounting method: magnetic sandwich clip for fabric and thin materials
• Profile: low-profile, compact design for discreet placement

How to use

Place the MagClip GO on the outside of the clothing or object where you want to mount the transmitter, then align the magnet behind the fabric or item and allow the magnetic force to secure the transmitter between clip and magnet. Adjust positioning to achieve the desired balance between concealment and optimal microphone placement for clear audio capture. For mounting on thin props or stage elements, sandwich the material between clip and magnet and confirm that the transmitter is stable before recording.

Usage recommendations

Use the MagClip GO with lightweight clothing and thin materials for best hold; thicker or heavily textured fabrics may reduce magnetic grip. Verify transmitter orientation and test audio levels after mounting to ensure unobstructed sound capture. When attaching to delicate fabrics or costumes, check for any marking risk and reposition if necessary. Store the clip and magnet together to avoid misplacement when not in use.
